Friction-stirwelding equipment for cylindrical structure and welding method thereof
Theinvention discloses friction-stir welding equipment for a rocket fuel storagetank cylinder and further discloses a welding method of the welding equipment. Thefriction-stir welding equipment comprises an outer vertical column and an innervertical column which are fixed to a base. The upper end faces of the outer verticalcolumn and the inner vertical column are connected or loosened through apneumatic locking mechanism; a welding clamp and a transmission mechanism are mountedon the inner vertical column; a welding spindle is mounted on the transmission mechanism,and a stirring head is mounted on the welding spindle; the welding spindle canmove up and down along the inner vertical column through the transmissionmechanism, is connected with a spindle base through a guide rail and can movein the spindle direction, and the welding spindle and the spindle base can movein the vertical direction along the guide rail; a welding base plate is fixedto the outer vertical column; and a plurality of auxiliary devices are further mountedaround the base through auxiliary vertical columns. The joint performance andproduction efficiency of a cylindrical structure are improved significantly,and the occurring rate of welding defects is decreased.
